New Horizons Concert at Radford University
Star Gazer for flute and computer is part of a concert celebrating new music, played by flutist Leslie Marrs. The concert will be held on the campus of Radford University (Radford, VA) at 8 pm 4/4/2006 in the Preston Hall-Ken Bondurant Auditiorium.

With the theme “not the usual suspects” featuring composers with diverse origins, flutist Dr. Leslie Marrs will perform my Star Gazer for flute and computer, at 8 pm on Monday, 10/17 on the campus of Radford University, Virginia. Special thanks to Dr. Bruce Mahin for his generous assistance in coordinating the electronics on this piece.
College Music Society National Conference
As one of the winners of the Student Score Competition hosted by the College Music Society, Star Gazer for solo flute and computer has been selected to perform at the College Music Society National Conference 2005 in Quebec City, Canada. The concert is on 11/4/2005 at 1:00 pm featuring flutist Dr. Leslie Marrs.
Foldover Radio Broadcast
Electroacoustic works Green Potato II, Star Gazer, and Vase are aired on radio program Foldover on November 8, 2004. Foldover airs every Monday from 1pm – 3pm on WOBC 91.5 FM in Oberlin, Ohio and focuses primarily on electroacoustic music though recordings of acoustic works are broadcast.
Live internet broadcasts are now available through RealPlayer.
Foldover broadcasts on Mondays, from 13 – 15 hrs, EST (17 – 19 hrs, GMT), and is organized by composer Tom Lopez.
program change on SCI region IV conference
Star Gazer is going to substitute for Trio on the 2004 SCI region IV conference due to the availability of performers. Flute faculty Jill O’Neil from Winthrop University will be performing.

Electronic Music Midwest 2004
Star Gazer for flute and computer has been selected for performance on the Electronic Music Midwest 2004 Festival, to be held September 16-18, 2004, at Lewis University, located in the Chicago area.

Upcoming performances
Star Gazer has been invited to perform at the fourth annual conference hosted by Gamma UT on the campus of University of Texas in Austin on Saturday, April 10th.
Green Potato II will be programmed on the Bytes concert series on Friday, April 16, 2004 at Lewis University in Romeoville, Illinois (Chicago area).
Performances well-received
Recent performances of A Golden Leaf Drifts Downstream and Star Gazer received numerous enthusiastic compliments and encouragement from the audience including composers Adrian Moore, Mike McFerron, Butch Rovan, and Cindy McTee, among others. I want to express my gratitude to the two wonderful performers Mr. Daniel Zajicek and Ms. Cecilia Hamilton for their dedication to my music. Without them, my works would not have reached their full potential.
Star Gazer on LaTex Festival
Composition for flute and computer Star Gazer will receive its world premier at LaTex Electro-Acoustic Music Festival on 11/08/2003 at 8PM in the MEIT (MU1001) of UNT. Flutist Cecilia Hamilton will be performing, with me at the board.
