My orchestral composition Etude for Orchestra (2000-2002) will be read by the UNT Symphony Orchestra on 04/25/2003 in Winspear Hall at 3:30 p.m.. You are all invited to attend the reading session! As a composer myself, nothing teaches me more about orchestration than attending a live reading session of my own work or even any other contemporary composer’s. This piece was composed during a period of one year and half as my master’s thesis under the guidance of the celebrated composer Chen Yi.
