Rugged Edges for string orchestra is one of the three winners of the 2003 Chamber Orchestra of Denton Competition for Composers. The judges’ panel consists of the conducting staff of the COD, a member of the orchestra, and a member of the composition faculty at the University of North Texas. The world premier will take place in March 2004 in Denton Texas under the direction of Mr. Dax Stokes with the Chamber Orchestra of Denton.
